SILVER SPRING VETERAN MEMORIAL

Nestled amid the serene landscape of Silver Spring, the Veterans Memorial stands as a tribute to the courage and sacrifice of our armed forces. Beside a tranquil reflection pool, five stones rise, each representing a branch of the military with unique materials: Marine Corps in solid stone, Army in sturdy concrete masonry, Navy in riveted steel panels, Air Force in brushed aluminum, and Marines in resilient concrete. Each stone is adorned with glass windows, bearing the names of the brave souls lost in the service of their country. The surrounding area embraces a seamless blend of architectural prowess and thoughtful design, much like a well-loved home.
